Countryfile Magazine Area

The Countryfile magazine area offered visitors at the 2008 Show a fantastic insight into the sheer variety of what the Great British countryside has to offer.  They picked up top tips on how, where and when to explore the most stunning parts of the UK, geared up with must-have clothing, footwear and gadgets and got advice on how to keep our great outdoors looking great.

The Green England Pavilion was full of products to help make your home and lifestyle more sustainable. Featuring Green England, Eco Products UK selling energy saving devices, recycling aids, recycled products and eco washing alternatives and Very PC the award wining brand specialising 'green' IT. The Pavilion also featured The Solar Centre who who supply solar lighting, gadgets and panels for home and garden and Onya Bags with their reusable and bio degradable plastic bag alternatives.

The Outdoor Pursuits Zone, sponsored by Uvistat, featured outdoor apparel and information on outdoor activities and Uvistat ran a Mole Check Clinicto protect you and check for potentially dangerous moles on your body.

The Countryfile Magazine Area also included our invaluable eco feature, A Sustainable Future – which focused on a cleaner, greener way of living with handy tips on how to reduce your carbon footprint and save water, plus advice from experts including John Craven, Ben Fogle and Oliver Heath.

The Countryfile magazine area is run in conjunction with the newly launched magazine of the same name - for more information go to bbccountryfile.com.
